Culley and Company can design the furniture and fixtures you need for your particular situation, and work through the process to installation by either fabricating with our own approved teams or working with your own architect, interior designer, contractor, or finding an appropriate specialist local to your project site.
The image above is a bar booth made from veneered bent plywood with drywall inserts to match the general wall condition. The associated lighting is also designed by our team.
These serving and condiment counters are formed with a corian top on a lacquered MDF base. Again, the lighting is specified by our team and the tables are a derivative of our Studio Range.
This bar design is openly decorative and makes a nod to the Art Deco origins to the building it sits within, and is designed to contrast with the rough feel of the previously ruined interior of the massive warehouse it sits inside.
This guard rail is made from welded bar stock metal and the cables have a repeating overlapping pattern. Alternative versions include coloured cables.
The following image, photographed by Jasper Sinadad, shows some bespoke furniture generated for Los Angeles-based advertising giant, TBWA\Chiat\Day.
It was designed using readily available materials – such as solid red oak tongue and groove flooring for the love seats and plinths – so that it could be constructed by an in-house team, helping to develop the ‘home-made’ tone that the agency wished to propagate on various levels.
The patio furniture was an existing set that was simply powder coated in a gradient of greens for a new identity more in line with the future feel of the agency.
Culley and Company will work with your local contractor and structural engineer if necessary to generate free-standing or built-in custom furniture to suit the particular context. We will work hard to understand particular needs and the general tone of the project or environment and help shape that if necessary, whilst always looking to find sometimes hidden gift-horses.
